Stage 13

Plan for about 7 hours following the Soča through narrowing gorges toward Bovec - a longer day with the river never far below the path. Summer crowds cluster at swimming spots; start early to have the track quieter.

Bovec is the adventure-sports capital of the valley - busy in season but well stocked for resupply. Accommodation fills when rafting and hiking peaks overlap.
