Stage 2

Plan for about 6 hours descending through the Sava valley toward Jesenice, with sustained walking on mixed paths and lanes. The day has real distance and some climbing - not the hardest stage on the trail, but it will feel like a proper day's hike.

Jesenice is an industrial town at the valley floor - practical rather than pretty, but good for shops and transport if you need a rest day.
